Terms and Conditions of Entry

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter, participating retailers and their staff and any agency involved with this promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
The promotion commences on 01/05/2026 and finishes on 30/06/2026 (‘Promotion Period’).
To enter the promotion, the entrant must purchase any Hard Rated 10-pack in a single transaction from a Participating Retailer displaying promotional material for this promotion, during the Promotional Period (‘Qualifying Purchase’).
For each Qualifying Purchase, the entrant must scan the QR code on the promotional display or visit www.hardratednrl.co.nz, fill in the requested entry details, including uploading their purchase receipt, and then submit to gain an entry in the Major Prize Draw. Bonus entries will also be awarded for subsequent entry submissions, as determined by the factors specified in clause 7.
Entrants must upload a valid purchase receipt for each eligible purchase of a participating product via the online entry form; each standard entry must be supported by a separate valid purchase receipt, and can only be used once and cannot be reused for multiple entry submissions or by multiple entrants. Entrants can enter a maximum of three (3) entries per person/day, following the same process in clauses 4 and 5.

Bonus entries will be awarded for each subsequent valid submission by each entrant, as identified by unique email address, during the Promotional Period. Bonus entries will be allocated automatically as follows:

6^th and subsequent valid entry submissions will each receive 4 bonus entries (a total of 5 entries per submission).

There will be one (1) Major Prize Draw. The Major Prize Draw will take place at 10:00am on 01/07/2026 by random electronic selection from all entries (standard and bonus) received during the Promotional Period. The first eligible Winner drawn, subject to validation including their purchase receipt(s), will win The Major Prize, a Trip for four (4) adults (18+) to Sydney, Australia, to attend the NRL Grand Final on 04/10/2026 valued up to $15,000 RRP (‘Major Prize’).
The Major Prize Trip includes:
- Return economy class airfares for four (4) adults from the Winners’ nearest NZ commercial airport to Sydney, Australia. All parties must depart and return to the same NZ commercial airport.
- All airline and airport taxes
- Return private transport from the airport to accommodation
- 2 nights at a 4-star Hotel in Sydney CBD (twin share)
- Daily breakfast
- 4 x NRL Premium Finals tickets to the event on Sunday, 4^th October 2026
- $400 AUD spending money
This Prize is valid for set travel dates (03/10/2026 - 05/10/2026), as outlined in the prize package to coincide with the NRL Grand Final Event. All bookings must be made a minimum of 90 days prior to requested departure dates. All bookings and inclusions regarding the Travel Prize must be made via the promoter’s chosen travel agent. Redeeming the Prize is conditional to accepting the terms and conditions as detailed by the promoter and in accordance with normal travel practices. All travel is subject to availability and may be dependent on specific booking classes with airlines or specific room categories with accommodation partners. All airline and accommodation options are at the promoter’s discretion. No part of the prize is redeemable for cash. It is non-refundable and not transferable. Winner and companions must hold valid passports with a minimum of 6 months validity prior to departure. Winner is responsible for any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once the booking is approved and issued. Visas, valid passports, additional spending money, meals and other ancillary costs, including but limited to travel insurance and insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package inclusions, are the responsibility of the travel prize Winner and their travel companions. Major Prize winner and their travel companions must hold valid travel insurance for their period of travel. It is the winner’s responsibility to organise transport to and from the airport departure and return point.
Any changes to travel or additional accommodation outside the travel period must be approved in advance by the Promoter and will be at the expense of the Winner and any travelling companions as incurred. The Promoter is not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of any part of the travel additional component, or any costs incurred by the Winner or any travelling companion as a result (including accommodation costs) and will be the responsibility of the Winner.
The Promoter makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination, and the Winner should seek their own travel advice. The Winner accepts the Prize and all travel associated with attending the NRL Grand Final Event at their own risk.
The prize must be taken in its entirety as specified in clause 8 & 9. The Winner and their travelling companions are able to extend their prize at their own cost, but changes to the trip itinerary will not be accepted.
Acceptance of the Prize is conditional on the Winner and their travelling companions being available to travel on the dates specified in clause 10. If the Winner and their travelling companions are unable to travel on these dates, they will forfeit the entirety of the Prize, and no compensation will be awarded. The Prize will then be awarded to the next valid entry drawn.
As a condition of accepting the prize the Winner and their travelling companions will be required to sign a Waiver and Indemnity form.

The Winner will be notified by telephone on the mobile phone number used for entry within three (3) business days of the Major Prize Draw date.
Additional reserve entries will be drawn and recorded in order drawn in case an invalid or ineligible entrant is drawn, the promoter cannot contact the Winner or the prize is unclaimed.
In the event that the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may in its sole discretion decide to provide an alternative prize.
Prizes are not transferable and cannot be converted to physical cash.
Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this competition will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected or incorrectly submitted entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems or human error. The time entries are deemed to be made will be the time the entry is received, not the time the entry is submitted by an entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right to disallow entries in its absolute discretion and without giving reasons.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs, and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
The Winners acknowledge and agree that they will comply with all instructions given by employees of the Promoter and other agencies associated with this promotion and agree not to do anything that may bring the Promoter into disrepute.
If a Winner cannot accept or take part in the prize for any reason, their prize will be void and no compensation will be payable.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The stated prize value is the recommended retail value in New Zealand as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of any prize.
All decisions made by the Promoter its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of the competition (including any prize) at any time in its sole discretion.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected; (d) any variation in the prize; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
The Promoter (and its agents) collects and holds personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of this promotion and for future promotional purposes. Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a prize. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may access and request correction of any of the details about them held by the Promoter by sending an email to [email protected].
